No. F-144 (Poona), the Poona Parsi Panchayat (PPP) was established on 30th
December 1951, with the primary intention of performing Navjotes and religious
ceremonies by bringing together the Zoroastrians in and around Pune and to work
unitedly for the upliftment and betterment of the community.
Later on the
objectives were changed to provide education aid, medical aid and housing
accommodation to the poor and needy deserving Parsi/Irani Zoroastrians.
The office of Poona Parsi Panchayat is located at 12, M. G. Road.
It is temporarily shifted to 873, Dastur Meher Road.
